In a few minutes Joelle and I leave for South Yarra. Yes, we're late as usual. But Joelle says the motto for today is, "don't stress", so I'm trying not to. Am wearing a yellow dress with satin sash, white cardigan with embroidered wool flowers, a beret, pearls, and WEDGES (ohmygosh they're back in fashion. What is going on with the world?!).
Last night a neighbour came to visit and as we were standing out the front discussing weddings, dogs, and What the Kids are Doing, I fainted into her arms. Noice. I hope I'll be ok hanging with Joel. He's seen me faint, throw up, sneeze, cough, and all other things unladylike.
Well, here we go! Joelle's ready and so am I.
